R.I.P. RAMMELLZEE

Rammellzee was born in 1960 in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY.

Rammellzee, aside from being an Old School Graffiti Artist with works seen around the world was very much an early MC/Rap Pioneer of vocal styles. Some of which were taught to him by one of his partners from way back- Jamel - Z.

Styles like the "Gangsta Duck" (which he used on the infamous Jean Michel Basquiat produced "Beat Bop" circa 1983), "WC Fields" (he used it in the movie Wild Style during his lyrically beyond performance with Shock Dell LIVE AT THE AMPHITHEATER circa 1982), and the "Tricky Dick" were all part of his arsenal.

His death was first announced on the Twitter page of Fab Five Freddy, who would know; and early this morning, a post went up on Rammellzee's Myspace page reading in part "...in mourning..as i type this, i'm numb from overwhelming sadness.....The Equation The Ramm:Ell:Zee has left his physical....left his pain." Details are unclear.

Rest in peace Rammellzee.

Seth Wolfson and Sueworks Collabo Print. This Photograph was taken in Israel while we were on tour. The Sue piece in the picture was painted on a Bomb shelter out in sorot Israel. WHITE TRAIN LAUNCH PARTY

White train had their grand launch party and I was invited by my home girl Maxine, one of the ceo's, but of course I was there to support her and my fellow artists. It was a great turnout and I had a real cool time. The Music had me vibeing & chilling with T-Dee, Frankie Velez, Dil, Komar, Sofie, Maxine, 2ase & Ski, Nueve, Will Santos & Sirringe. At the end everyone left with a gift bag, I got got mine.
