VICE Presents: Tattoo Age
This series revolves around an artist named Mutsuo who tattoos at the world-famous Three Tides Tattoo in Osaka, Japan. Mutsuo went from being one of the shop’s first customers to its first apprentice, and now he is considered its most senior tattoo artist. He learned the trade from all the American tattoo masters who visited Three Tides, and got what Chris Garver calls “a 90s-style tattoo education.”
Nike Air Force 1 Low “Infrared”
Another homage to the original ‘Infrared’ colorway of the Air Max 90 is seen in this latest Air Force 1 Low release. Although not officially ‘Infrared’, Bright Crimson comes astoundingly close and when paired with white and light grey, the comparisons are rather obvious. Nike Sportswear whipped up a similar ‘Air Max OG’ tribute a few years back, but this one opts for slightly different color-blocking as it transfers the black heel to the inner lining.
I think I might cop that.

Air Jordan IX “Kilroy Pack” – Release Dates
We all had a good inkling that this year would be capped off with the Air Jordan IX treatment, with colorways like the ‘Cool Grey’ and the ‘Olive’ popping up earlier in the year. Of course amongst them was the Air Jordan IX ‘Johnny Kilroy’, one that has turned out to be the harbinger of so much more-a six pair pack focusing around Michael Jordan’s alter egos during his fictional retirement way back when. The Johnny Kilroy, Fontay Montana, Bentley Ellis, Calvin Bailey, Slim Jenkins, and Motorboat Jenkins, will each be rolled out in pretty quick succession in the coming months. Scientists Urge People To Be Prepared For Alien Contact. A group of scientists overseas say world governments should start preparing an action plan in case Earth is contacted by aliens. They claim a branch of the UN should be given responsibility for what they call a "supra-Earth affairs" and come up with a detailed response for if or when the extraterrestrials arrive.
